Our Young People’s Programme offers a unique and engaging educational experience for individuals aged 8 -25 who may not thrive in traditional classroom environments. Designed as an alternative pathway, the programme combines hands-on equestrian learning with personal development, delivered in a calm, supportive rural setting.

Participants take part in a wide range of activities, including horse care, riding, and stable management, all of which help develop responsibility, discipline, teamwork, and routine. Alongside these practical skills, we offer tailored educational support and life skills development—fostering confidence, communication, and resilience.

At the heart of our offer is our bespoke 12-week personal development programme, The Orchard Reins & Roots Journey. This structured, non-ridden & ridden pathway supports emotional growth and self-awareness through meaningful interaction with horses. Learners are encouraged to reflect, engage mindfully, and build their confidence in a low-pressure, high-impact way.
